Teach-In and Public Meeting About Stopping Prison Expansion in Kingston

Snacks and refreshments will be available, and childcare provided.

The first half of the meeting will be a teach-in, with EPIC members answering questions such as What is the Prison Industrial Complex (PIC)? What is the Conservative agenda for prison expansion? How will corporations profit? How have cities challenged the PIC? In the second half, people will have the opportunity to brainstorm strategies for mounting a campaign against prison expansion in our city.

Bring a book for a prisoner.
